For the purposes of these terms and conditions, “we”, “us” and “our” refers to Four Wheel Ride, while “you” and “your” refers you, the person using the website and/or purchasing the products sold on the website.
Limitation of liability
By using this website, you accept that Four Wheel Ride is not legally responsible for any loss or damage you might suffer as a result of your use of this website, whether that be through the goods we offer on the website or by any errors or omissions in our documents or information. This includes your use of any third party service connected to this website. Your use of any products sold on this website, and reliance on any information listed on this website, is completely at your own risk and we shall not be liable for it. It is your own responsibility to make sure that any products and/or information displayed on this website meet your specific, personal requirements. You acknowledge that information displayed on this website may contain errors and inaccuracies and Four Wheel Ride will not be held liable for any such errors or inaccuracies.
Conditions of sale
Four Wheel Ride will not sell electric skateboards or mountainboards to people under the age of 18, unless they provide written consent from their parent or guardian. By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions, you are confirming that you are 18 years old or older. Four Wheel Ride will only collect your personal information in so far as you offer it to us during the process of enquiring about and/or purchasing our products. We will only use your personal information to supply you with products listed on our website and will not share with any third party, except those required to facilitate the sale of products or where we are required by law to disclose information. You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. Four Wheel Ride handles returns and processes refunds according to New Zealand consumer protection legislation, in particular the Consumer Guarantees Act. Should you wish to return your order within seven days of receiving it, Four Wheel Ride will only consider a refund if the board is in as-new condition, including the original packaging. The board must not be damaged or marked in any way in order for you to be eligible for a refund. Any sign of use will cause the board to be ineligible for a full refund. Returning the board for a refund is only available to those customers who contact Four Wheel Ride within seven days of delivery date, and the granting of a refund is at the sole discretion of Four Wheel Ride. The cost of shipping a returned board lies with the buyer and we will not be responsible for it.
If you believe there is a serious fault with a product bought from Four Wheel Ride, contact us through our website or via email with a full description of the issue. We will respond to your complaint promptly and may invite you to send the board to us for inspection (shipping is at your own expense). Upon assessing the board, and possibly requesting more information, we will make a determination as to whether a remedy, in the form of refund, repair or replacement, is required. If a repair is required, we may need to send the board overseas to a qualified technician. This will be done as quickly as possible but we will not be liable for any further compensation as a result of any delay in repairing and returning your board.
MBS warrants products against defects in workmanship and/or materials to the original retail purchaser for a period of one year from the original date of retail purchase (receipt required). The warranty is void if the product is damaged due to normal wear and tear, misuse or abuse, modifications to the product, improper assembly or repairs, and/or use in competition or commercial purposes.
Atom Electric warrants products against defects in workmanship and/or materials to the original retail purchaser for a period of six months from the original date of retail purchase (receipt required). The warranty is void if the product is damaged due to normal wear and tear, misuse or abuse, modifications to the product, improper assembly or repairs, use in competition or commercial purposes, exposure to water, battery left discharged for extended period of time, and/or battery charged with charger other one provided with board.
Products purchased on the Four Wheel Ride website will be shipped via CourierPost or other reputable courier companies. The cost of shipping is determined by the courier company according to a range of factors, such as distance, weight, volume and size of lithium-ion battery. Shipping will be processed promptly upon receipt of full payment and delivery may take between two and fourteen days, depending on the delivery option. All large parcels must be delivered to an address where someone is available to sign on delivery. If someone is not available to sign when the parcel is delivered, a re-delivery fee may apply. Damaged or lost orders must be resolved with CourierPost or the courier company directly, we are not responsible for goods that are damaged in transit or not received. Replacement of lost or damaged goods is made at the discretion of Four Wheel Ride.
